Well, this is going to be a long post. We had so many fun adventures this past week and I told my mom that I would post a lot of pictures for her. The pictures are not in order, sorry...
Niels and I went to Disney on Ice with some friends and I have to admit it was great. Niels was glued to everything they did. He loved it, therefore I loved it. Of course there were "Cars" and Lion King which made it all worthwhile. My first date night with Niels. Perfect!
I decided to at the last minute throw a pumpkin carving party and invited some of our new friends in Oregon to come. It was a blast. My sister in law has done one at home every year and we were feeling a little sad we missed it, so we threw our own. The boys had a blast will all of their friends that came over and we saw some great carving skills. We are so thrilled to have made some great friends here. Thanks for the party!
My parents sent the boys a halloween surprise we received one night and as you can tell by the pics they were loving it. It helped that my mom put in "cars" fruit snacks, goldfish, and M&M's our favorites inside. A few books and some halloween toys. Needless to say, it was a hit and still today, Niels won't go to sleep without reading the pumpkin and ghost books papa sent. (sorry mom, for some reason dad sent those ones and you sent the candy :))
Then came the big day. We went to a pumpkin patch where the boys got to hold baby chicks, jump on the big bouncer, and eat incredible doughnuts. It was a perfect start to our halloween day. Our ward had a Trunk or Treat that night and it was the best. The boys dressed up as, yes Home Depot workers and got tons of Oohhs and Aahhs!!! I have to admit they were adorable and loving every minute of getting free candy. Completley tuckered out we went home and counted our candy and went to bed.
What a great week.....hope you all had the same.
