more happenings from oregon

We decided to take advantage of some of the sites here in Oregon the last few weekends. We drove to the coast and went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory, which was great. You get free samples of all their cheeses, yogurt, fudge and ice cream. We were in heaven seeing how cheese and ice cream are food groups in our house. Then we went to the beach for an hour or so. One thing that I am not impressed with are the beaches here. They are beautiful I will give them that, but they are cold and windy. Not fun for little boys. We left Portland and it was 90 degrees and the coast was 68 degrees. What's up with that. I want a warm beach, is that so much to ask?
We did have a great time though. We hit up the Sherwood parade for this big festival they had, which was a hit for the boys. Free candy EVERYWHERE!!!
I also posted come pics of Davis' first haircut. We were sad to see the long locks go, but as you can tell, it was time.
Right now we are experiencing 103 degrees and it just makes it feel like home, so with that said, happy HOT weather everyone!

Your cute boys! Davis is getting so big. Kandis and Adam love the Tillamook cheese factory too. Looks like the summer in Oregon has been good to you so far, enjoy the heat!

Hey,
It seems like you are enjoying Oregon. Kevin's little brother, Curtis, was in Portland for dental school the last 4 years. They just moved to Pittsburgh. Our best friends from school just moved to Tigard. He's doing an Ortho residency in Portland for 2 1/2 years. I don't know if that's close to where you are living. If you want an invite to our blog email me your email andrusemily@hotmail.com. Your boys are so cute! I run into your mom every time I'm in IF! Take care :)

So in the pic of you guys on your blanket, you are sitting right next to one of my best friends. Their daughter Maggie is the one with dark hair. Did you meet Brittany, her mom? So funny! I think it must have been at the parade?
