We had a party over the 4th this year. It was a whirlwind of a week. We flew back to Salt Lake and spent a day with Scotts brothers and saw a few friends and then it was off to Montana. My grandparents were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversay and we had a big party with my whole extended family. i posted a few pics of our adventures there. The boys rode horses, played with cousins, had water fights and more. It was such great time to see everyone. Our family has grown so much.
After Montana, we went back to IF for the fireworks. How can you miss that. It was great to see some familiar faces and watch the greatest fireworks ever. My boys were not thrilled though, they screamed when they started and Niels covered his eyes the whole time while Davis fell asleep.
The next day we headed to Bear Lake to hang with the Larsens. It was perfect weather and everyone was there. The boys had a great time with their cousins and we got to just relax for a few days.
It was really hard to come back to Portland, but we know this is where we need to be right now. We can be sad and miss our family and friends though. thanks for the great times everyone!
