First day of preschool for Niels

Ahhh, fall is here in Portland. Rain, rain, and then some more rain. I LOVE IT! :( But there have been a few fun things going on. A few last minute vacations, preschool and playgroups starting, and an adorable 4 month old.

Scott has been working up in Seattle a lot lately so we decided to make it a mini vaca and go with him one weekend. It was great! The boys think staying in a hotel is the coolest thing, it wouldnt really matter where we were as long as they get the free breakfast and swimming pool. While Scott was working on Friday I braved it and took the kids to the Aquarium in downtown Seattle. They loved it, of course. We then stayed with Mike and Jacque (scotts buddy from high school) and went to a Mariners game. It was a great weekend!

Then preschool started, which I was thrilled for. Niels loves preschool but was a little rusty and doesnt love new situations, so it has been good for him and he is now loving it. Meanwhile I started a playgroup for Davis once a week, which has also been great! I think it is fun for the boys to have seperate lives and friends for a little bit. Otherwise they are glued at the hip....Leading me to my next topic. We got a new trampoline for the winter, something the kids can do to release energy and they are in heaven. It has been the best thing I have ever done.

And on to Blakely...oh she is a cutie and an absolute joy. She is sleeping fabulously, eating, cooing, smiling, and now rolling over. WHAT!!! where does the time go. She is a great baby and we all have been having so much fun watching her grow.

We are doing well and can't wait for what life has in store for us in October...
