Well, life has been crazy as usual and I have not posted for like a month. That is forever. I have checked on everyone else a few times, but I haven't had a chance to update. So here goes...we just celebrated Niels FIRST birthday. I really can't believe that he is one. It's like he grew up over night. I made (yes made) him a baseball birthday cake and he didn't even like it. He hated the frosting all over his hands and just wanted to play with his new basketball hoop grandma and grandpa hendricks got him. I think we now have enough toys to fill our living room. Poor baby #2 is going to have all hand-me-downs. It was a lot of fun and we are so blessed to have him.

That is one impressive cake, how did you get that awesome round shape? I love your hair too by the way. Love the gift from the grandparents - starting him early...lol
I bought a cake pan that made the roundness. I can do every different type of sports ball out there. I figured it was a good purchase considering I am having another boy and I will get good use out of it.
